A baby's cry

The problem of the mother isn’t very common in the Netherlands or England in which this true story happened. During the book all information and background of the baby is strictly confidential to protect the biological mother and child.

Directly from the beginning it’s clear that the mother has contradictional feelings in regard to her baby. First she gives her baby Harrison away for the adoption process but on the other hand, she left a brand new suitcase full baby clothes for each babyphase of his first year in the hospital.

Cathy, the author, is taking care of Harrison in the first year of his life. When the adoption is almost complete, the biological mother changes her mind. Can she convince the authorities in time that she will be a good mother for her own child?
