Normally I wouldn’t be doing a review of an easy reading ‘Cowboy story’ but this one is so well-written. I just had to feature its excellent qualities here.
This story was a pleasant surprise. When I started reading, I fully expected this to be an example of pulp fiction but turned out to be a real page turner!
The first part of the story starts immediately with the murder of her sister Lela and the head character Ella witnessed behind the corner that she is killed by their uncle Philip, because her sister should have find evidence against her uncle.
Ella manages to flee the crime scene while her uncle tries to frame her for the murder. Ella takes a flight to Montana, to her own possession of The Wolf Ranch. When she checked the ranch, it is empty. What isn’t the appointment with her uncle.
During her journey to home she meets the interesting cowboy Gabe. Together they start a research about the evidence against her uncle. Lela had declared that she had hidden the information somewhere. Will Ella find it in time before the police find her hiding spot?
