Bird Medicine - The sacred power of bird shamanism

What was disappointed about the content of the book. I had just very high expectations with respect to the book. In my experience was there absolutely no depth in the story. I mean: I read a lot personally things about the author but nothing news in terms of information about the described birds and their special characteristics. That’s the reason that I couldn’t finish to read the whole story.

This book resembles a kind of personal account of the author, say a travelogue of personal experiences where birds play a crucial role, such as saving a human life or bring an important message. Some experience stories are from the authors friends or relatives.

Anyway the most important message of the book is: Listen to the animals. But of course I already know this. This book is not comparable to the copy: Animal speak from the author Ted Andrews, his book has much more educated information about many animals. That’s my animal bible and use it often as a reference.
