At the end of the story my suspicions about the head character Maddy’s situation was confirmed. In that way, the book was predictable to me. I asked my daughter at the beginning of story if I was right, and she asked: “How did you know?!” “I said: “Just a feeling”.
Maddy is confined in her own house because she would have health issues with regard of het immune system. But then, a nice neighbor boy arrives next door. They will come in contact together by mail. Of course, isn’t this enough and Maddy makes plans to escape together with the boy in a world she doesn’t know…
