O my goodness. I really love the series. There is a lot of actions between the head characters, even some romantic between them, and lot of fantasy situations that you didn’t expected. Only the development with regard the emotions of the characters didn’t go so deep this time in the book. That was a disappointment to me.

Celaena is mainly concerned with her personal development in the bloodline of her heir as being a fairy. In this she is challenged by the fairy prince Rowan and he explores her personal limits when it comes to her amazing magical powers.

The dark forces of the king's evil henchmen are increasingly coming in front. The first fairy beings are already murdered. The resistance of the population is increasing. Celaena must have to take action if she wants to save her people from the forced magic evil. But will she be ready in time to compete with the dark forces?
