Shatter me - Touching Juliette 1

This novel is excellent written. It caught my attention immediately. I wanted to know how this story developed because the main character, Juliette, is placed in a terrible situation based on loneliness, and without any other social contact for 3 years.

The effect of this mental abuse is so sensible for the reader by each option for counting, two eyes, ten fingers and so on. And also by repeated normal sentences or affirmations like: I’m not insane. Juliette relives important situations from her past and explains why she ended in prison through her deadly gift.

Some day there is a young man placed in her isolation cell with the name Adam. The social talk is following very difficult and she doesn’t wanted to be touched by him through her past. After this test she meets Warner the leader of Sector 45 of the Reestablishment of the military basis.

Warner has big plans for her and he wants to use her as a weapon that must be feared. But Juliette doesn’t want to hurt other people and has one big wish: ESCAPE!
